Do adjectival superlatives create new forms of legalism? Anthony Bradley seems to think so and he makes a good case. Christians are called to live lives which are distinct from the world, but a slew of new popular books attach adjectives to the normal Christian life which are foreign to scripture.  Should Christians seek to live luke-warm lives? Absolutely not! And yet, rather than seeking new ways in which to justify ourselves, we are called to simply walk in the works which God has pre-ordained and prepared for us.
