It really has been over a month since I've put anything on here. I've been reading what I can find of a man by the name of Frederick Buechner (pronounced Beek-ner). One of his quotes that caught my attention is:
“Lust is the craving for salt of a man who is dying of thirst”
This is, I think, very insightful. How many people do we know who are dying of thirst, and yet continue to come back to eat salt; the whole time, rejecting the springs of living water offered by our savior?
I don't know much about Buechner, but I want to read more of him.
