
When Parents Fail
As parents we all want to succeed in raising children who love the Lord and who are disciplined enough to able to function well in the world around them. InĀ the circles I run in, this is a very high priority and I think rightfully so. But, as R.J. Grunewald points out on his blog today, we fail . . . sometimes often.
What is the Christian response to failing to parent well? It is the same response we have in all of our failings before God. We repent and then we return to the gospel for the motivation to change. Read: Grace for the Failing Parent
